Emily's first marathon distance swim was a 30-mile swim of Flathead Lake in Montana.  Emily was the first woman to swim the length of Flathead lake and only two men completed the task before her.  This swim was completed with the use of a wetsuit.  Emily's swim took 18 and a half hours and she raised $9,500 for then three year old Karmyn.
